MySpace, the new champion
Web research firm HitWise just sent me its latest study, and it says that for the first time, MySpace is the No. 1 Web site in the USA based on market share of visits. The way HitWise ranks sites, Yahoo Mail is second, Yahoo third and Google fourth.
What's really astounding is MySpace market share among social networking sites. HitWise says MySpace has 80% of the market. No. 2 Facebook comes in at 7.6%.
